Combining artisanal manufacturing with sustainable materials, our Felted Alpaca Slippers are handmade in collaboration with a female owned manufacturing businesses in Lima, Peru. The first of a select few lifestyle products coming to our online store, The Felted Alpaca Slippers are designed to bring comfort and joy to everyday rituals.
Empowering Female Artisans
We partnered with Marilu and her company for this collaboration. Marilu started her manufacturing business in 2014 with the mission to help artisan women grow up and to give them the power to change their future. Although the company is based in Lima, Marilu works with artisan groups throughout vulnerable regions of Peru to manufacture fashion accessories for global brands. Through these partnerships, Marilu's company can provide steady work for artisan women through utilizing traditional artisanal manufacturing techniques.

Sustainable Materials
Made from 60% Wool and 40% Alpaca, the Felted Alpaca Slippers are handmade with textile waste generated from local textile factories in Peru and utilize leather scrap waste generated from hand bag manufacturing.
